Prototek Digital Manufacturing LLC, its affiliates, and subsidiaries, (“Prototek,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operate prototek.com and any other website that links to this Privacy Policy (each a “Site”) or by the products and services we offer through the Site (collectively, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy describes our policies and procedures on the collection, use, and disclosure of your information when you use the Services and tells you about the privacy rights you may have available to you regarding your personal information. This Privacy Policy does not apply to any website or online service operated by a Prototek affiliate or subsidiary that has a separate privacy policy.
Please carefully read this Privacy Policy as we may update it from time to time as indicated by the Last Updated date at the top of this page. By continuing to use the Services, you acknowledge and agree to the collection, disclosure, and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy, and that you accept the Terms of Use, which are hereby incorporated by reference. We seek to improve our offerings and understand how you interact with the Services, such as operating and maintaining the safety, security, and integrity of the Services, databases, and other technology assets, as well as diagnosing technical and service problems.
- Create, manage, and administer your account. When you register as a user of the Services, the personal information you provide can personalize the different functionalities of the Services that are available to you as a registered user.
- Perform the development, compliance, and undertaking of your purchase of Services or of any other contract with us through the Services.

Email Marketing: You may opt out of newsletters, marketing, promotional, or advertising emails by following the unsubscribe process included in any promotional email you received or by contacting us at [email protected]. Please keep in mind that if you opt out of receiving marketing messages, you will still receive transactional and service-related emails from us (such as emails related to your services, your account, correction of personal information, password reset requests, reminder emails you have requested, updates to our terms and policies and other similar communications essential to your transaction) that may be necessary for us to make the services available to you or respond to your inquiries.
SMS Marketing (texts): We may provide you with promotional offers and other marketing communications by text message. You may opt in by indicating your preference in our online contact forms. If you agree to receive SMS communications from us, then we may send you information, including promotional or marketing text messages, to the phone number you provide. You may opt out of receiving text messages by replying “Stop” to any message you receive, or, to opt out of marketing or advertising calls, by contacting us through one of the methods specified in the Contact Us section below and sharing the phone number that you would like to opt out.

The Services use cookies and similar tracking technologies, such as beacons, tags, and scripts from third parties and service providers, to help personalize your online experience, maintain security, advertise our services to you, analyze your activity on the Services, and remember certain information. How We Disclose Personal Information
We may disclose your personal information we collect or you provide us with in the following situations:
- Service Providers that perform services on our behalf and for ordinary business purposes such as to monitor and analyze the use of our Services, to advertise on third-party websites to you after you visited our Services, for payment processing, and to contact you. Service Providers have access to your personal information only to perform their tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
- Payment information is provided directly to our third-party payment processors whose use of your personal information is governed by their separate privacy policy. We require these payment processors to adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of payment information.
- Business Transfers in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of Prototek assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company. Children’s Privacy
Our Services are not intended for anyone under the age of eighteen (18) and no one under the age of eighteen (18) may provide any personal information to the Services. Prototek processes your personal information in accordance with applicable U.S. state data privacy laws. - We disclose Commercial Information with businesses and service providers who process payments.
- We disclose Sensitive Personal Information and Education, Professional or Employment-related Information with government entities and in the event of civil litigation to comply with our legal obligations.
Right to Access, Know, and Correct Personal information
You may submit a request to access, know, and obtain from Prototek information regarding the personal information that has been processed in the past 12 months by Prototek and to correct any personal information maintained by Prototek. Once we receive your request and confirm your identity, we will disclose the following:
- The categories of personal information collected.
- The sources from which the personal information was collected.
- The business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling the personal information.
- If we sold or disclosed your personal information for a business purpose, two separate lists disclosing:
- Sales, identifying the personal information categories that each category of recipient purchased; and
- Disclosures for a business purpose, identifying the personal information categories that each category of recipient obtained.
- The specific pieces of personal information we collected about you.
Right to Opt Out of Sale/Sharing/Targeted Advertising
You may have the right to ask Prototek not to “sell” or “share” your personal information to third parties.
Our Services use cookies and other online tracking technologies that may be considered a “sale” / “sharing” under applicable law. We do not sell personal information. However, the service providers we partner with (for example, our advertising partners) may use technology on the Services that “sells” personal information as defined under applicable law.
Categories of personal information disclosed that may be considered “sale” / “sharing” include, Identifiers, Device and network information, and Internet/Network Activity.
Categories of third parties to whom personal information was disclosed that may be considered “sale”/ “sharing” include certain advertisers and marketing partners, data analytics providers, and social media networks.

The opt out will place a cookie on your computer that is unique to the browser you use to opt out. If you change browsers or delete the cookies saved by your browser, you will need to opt out again.
Your mobile device may give you the ability to opt out of the use of information about the apps you use in order to serve you ads that are targeted to your interests. You can also stop the collection of location information from your mobile device by changing the preferences on the device.
Residents of certain states may opt out by broadcasting an Opt-Out Preference Signal, such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC) (on the browsers and/or browser extensions that support such a signal). Our Site does not respond to Do Not Track signals (“DNT”). However, some third-party websites do keep track of your browsing activities. Right to Delete Personal information
You may have the right to request the deletion of your personal information that have been collected in the past 12 months, subject to certain exceptions. Once we confirm your identity, we will review your request to understand if an exception applies to your request. We may deny your deletion request if retaining the information is necessary for us or our service provider(s) and as permitted by applicable law. We will delete or deidentify personal information not subject to an exception from our records and will direct our service providers to take similar action.
Non-Discrimination and Non-Retaliation
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights.

Only you or your authorized agent may make a consumer request related to your personal information.
Your request must provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative, which may include:
- Provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative; and
- Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.
We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you.
You do not need to create an account with us to submit a request. We will use personal information provided in the request only to verify the requestor’s identity or authority to make it.
Right to Appeal
Residents of certain states may have the right to appeal our decision with respect to a request. To appeal a decision, please contact us through the ways listed above or any method outlined in the decision.
Authorized Agents
If you use an authorized agent, you may provide a power of attorney executed pursuant to applicable law. If a power of attorney is not submitted, you will be required to provide the authorized agent signed permission to submit a request, verify your identity directly with us, and directly confirm with us that you provided the authorized agent permission to submit the request. If you’re an authorized agent making a request, you need to submit the following to the email address below in our contact information:
- A copy of a power of attorney provided to you by the consumer pursuant to applicable law; or
- Proof of signed permission along with a copy of your ID and have the consumer directly confirm with us that they provided you permission to submit the request by sending an email.
Where required, we will acknowledge a consumer request within 10 days of receipt and Prototek will disclose and deliver the required information free of charge within 45 days of receiving your verifiable request. The time period to provide the required information may be extended once by an additional 45 days when reasonably necessary and with prior notice. If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request.
Any disclosures we provide may only cover the 12-month period preceding our receipt of your request. The response we provide will also explain the reasons we cannot comply with a request, if applicable. For data portability requests, we will select a format to provide your personal information that is readily useable and should allow you to transmit the information from one entity to another entity without hindrance.
California’s Shine the Light Law
Under California Civil Code Section 1798 (California’s Shine the Light law), California residents with an established business relationship with us can request information once a year about sharing their personal information with third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes.
