About Stereolithography

Digital Light Processing (DLP) is a type of 3D printing that employs a UV-sensitive liquid resin cured through a digital light projector. Once the printing process is finished, our AM technicians thoroughly clean the part, remove any supports, and apply UV and thermal curing, if necessary.

DLP 3D printing is an ideal choice for projects that require high levels of detail and finishing in various production-grade materials. This technology can produce components with varying durometers and characteristics, ranging from supple silicone to rigid high-temp cyanate ester. It is beneficial for creating small end-use components, lightweight metal part replacements, functional, high-detail prototypes, jigs, and fixtures.
