Description

Carbon’s RPU 70 is a rigid polyurethane (PU) material with excellent mechanical properties, making it an ideal choice for producing functional parts. The material has high stiffness, good tensile strength, and impact resistance characteristics, which makes it suitable for applications that require parts with high durability and structural integrity. RPU 70 has a Shore D hardness of 70 and offers good resistance to abrasion, chemical exposure, and wear and tear. It has a smooth surface finish, which means that parts created from this material can be used without additional finishing requirements. It produces complex geometries with internal and external features, making it an excellent option for creating high-end prototypes, short-run production, and end-use parts.
