Description

Carbon’s SIL 30 silicone material is a proprietary 3D printing material engineered with Carbon’s Digital Light Synthesis (DLS) technology. SIL 30 is a biocompatible material with high elongation and tear strength, making it an ideal option for medical and dental applications. It has a Shore A hardness of 30, which means it has a soft and flexible texture similar to rubber. This material also exhibits excellent printability, allowing for the quickly creation of highly detailed and complex structures. SIL 30 is resistant to standard sterilization methods like EtO gas and gamma irradiation, making it ideal for medical devices that require sterilization before use. Additionally, the material is translucent, which allows for easy visualization of internal structures and monitoring of fluid flow.
